Today insurance has reached to an impressive mark that there is a policy available for virtually everything. You name it and you have it. Be it wedding, pet, home or anything. Keyman Insurance: a 'Keyman policy' is offered to the individual who directly affects the profitability and the continuity of a business and whose absence may have as an adverse effect on the health and continuity of the business. Keyman insurance is a life insurance policy taken by the company on the life of the most important person in the firm whose absence from the firm would make a substantial difference. The Life Insurance Corporation of India offers this policy. SBI and ICICI Prudential also offer such plans, which is ideally suited for the purpose of Keyman insurance.

Education loan borrower: education is a continuous process. Getting quality education is an expensive bargain these days. If you are running short of money, loan for pursuing further studies can be considered. The number of students opting for educational loans has been on the rise in recent years. Insurance cover for the money taken up as loan is also equally essential now. SBI Life's Edu Shield is one such plan that secures the individual from the financial obligations under the loan.

Terrorism Cover: in India, insurance companies provide terrorism coverage only upto Rs 200 crore at any one location from the Market Terrorism Pool as per Terrorism Pool rules. In case the client intends to opt for insurance coverage that goes beyond Rs 200 crore, he/she would need to avail of 'Stand Alone Terrorism Coverage policy', which is presently offered by New India Assurance.

Mobile insurance:The last few years has seen a rapid increase in the number of mobile buyers. Looking at the speedy increase of mobile shoppers, insurance companies have begun to offer mobile insurance policies. One such example is Oriental Insurance Co. This policy offered is a comprehensive cover that protects Mobile Cellular Phones and Pagers against a variety of risks. Volume discount is available if more than 25 instruments are insured. The risks that are covered are against the risk of fire, theft, terrorist activities, riots and strikes. The policy can be extended to cover the misuse of the instrument.

Film Insurance: if insurance policies are meted out to so many realms then could films not be insured. Well the answer is a definite 'yes'. United India offers film insurance and till date it has insured over 40 films. The concept is gaining popularity and more and more directors are opting for it. Among the private insurers, it is Bajaj Allianz again that offers this policy. Films like Devdas, Bunty aur Babli, Swades, etc. were insured. Not only films, these days even TV soaps are getting insured. One such example is 'Nach Baliye' which is telecasted on 'Star One' channel. Bajaj Allianz extended the insurance coverage.

Home Insurance: most general insurance companies offer home insurance policies. A home is much more that just brick walls.
